Bitcoin Cash Anniversary — Global Airdrop🎉💚
BTC.com is celebrating the anniversary of the creation of Bitcoin Cash by organizing an international airdrop on the 1st of August.
BTC.com will give away free Bitcoin Cash to the first 1000 people who find these posters and scan the QR code with the BTC.com wallet app.
Last August was an important milestone for the BTC.com team, as we have welcomed a new currency to our mining pool, wallet, explorer and API. As active proponents of both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, we wish to inspire all crypto enthusiasts and new comers to celebrate the diversity of the blockchain space with us!
In order to bring cryptocurrencies to the streets, we reached out to the blockchain community all over the world and our call to action has been answered! 💚
Passionate crypto evangelists will put up posters in their cities, bringing this celebration to the people and creating awareness world wide. As a result, more than 15 major cities will be participating in this airdrop:

How it works
So you found one of these posters? It’s really simple to use them!
1. Get the app
For this promotion, the QR codes can only be scanned with the ‘BTC.com wallet’ app but once you scanned it, you own the private keys to the BCH.

2. Create an account
You will only need an email address and password to start. Remember to save your wallet backup, because this app does not store your private keys, so you need to make sure to save them. This wallet backup contains the seed of your private keys. If you forget your password, you can use the backup sheet to access your funds and re-cover your account.
To ensure that one participant can only scan one QR code, we ask you to verify your phone number. This will not be used in the app and can always be deleted later. You can add the phone number either during the signup or anytime by visiting the “Settings” → Phone → Phone number.
3. Scan!
Click on the Menu icon (top left), and switch the currency via the drop down in the sidebar from Bitcoin (blue) to Bitcoin Cash (green). Tap on the QR code reader in the top right corner to scan the code & click redeem. Congrats!
